Hosted by Arandis Town Council, the event highlighted the town’s strategic readiness and the growing national momentum toward green energy development.

In her keynote address, Hon. Deputy Minister Evelyn !Nawases-Taeyele emphasized Namibia’s ambition to become a global player in the hydrogen economy, spotlighting Arandis and Walvis Bay as crucial hubs for scaling up production and logistics. She applauded the collaborative spirit that drives this vision, describing Arandis as more than just a site but a symbol of opportunity, resilience, and innovation.

The statement of support delivered by Dr. Eline Van Der Linden from the Namibia Green Hydrogen Programme reinforced the importance of infrastructure readiness and cross-sector collaboration, praising the town’s foresight and progress. The event also celebrated the collective efforts of stakeholders, laying the groundwork for a future powered by clean energy and inclusive growth.
